In the following 3 minute video, Alan Jones comments on Biden’s image; green vs coal power; and the G7 conference which is enabling China.
Furthermore, at G7, they proposed to stop funding coal-fired power; Jones noted that such legislation will put the western world at a disadvantage and give an edge to China and many other nations who will continue to use coal power and pollute the world….
During the past few years, as I have been studying the democratic left, Marxism…I have been thinking that what God did to Israel, spoken of in the prophets (see below) is happening in America and the western world because they have turned away from Him and become as described in Romans 1.
The following words from Isaiah are also spoken by other prophets and seem to occur when God is bringing down a nation:
Isaiah 3:1ff [emboldening mine]:
1For behold, the Lord GOD of hosts
is taking away from Jerusalem and from Judah
support and supply,a
all support of bread,
and all support of water;
2the mighty man and the soldier,
the judge and the prophet,
the diviner and the elder,
3the captain of fifty
and the man of rank,
the counselor and the skillful magician
and the expert in charms.
4And I will make boys their princes,
and infantsb shall rule over them.
5And the people will oppress one another,
every one his fellow
and every one his neighbor;
the youth will be insolent to the elder,
and the despised to the honorable.

8For Jerusalem has stumbled,
and Judah has fallen,
because their speech and their deeds are against the LORD,
defying his glorious presence.d
9For the look on their faces bears witness against them;
they proclaim their sin like Sodom;
they do not hide it.

The Bible is full of examples of what happens to peoples who turn from the Lord, or defy Him. We in the USA certainly have done that. I was nine years old in 1960, it seems that from then till 2000, wickedness increased greatly with each new decade; since 2000, it is increasing much more quickly. The following quote from one of Dr. MacArthur’s sermons, that I posted 2 May 2021, notes the increase of knowledge, but that knowledge is certainly not saving knowledge of the Lord. Technological advancements have made it easier to become morally defiled….
If all of man’s accumulated knowledge since the beginning of recorded history were represented by one inch until 1845; then from 1845 – 1945 would equal 3 inches; from 1945 – 1975 would equal 555 feet; according to Buckminster Fuller (inventor, innovator and mathematician) who presented his ‘doubling curve’ in 1982, in his best seller, Critical Path.
His argument was that our accumulation of knowledge since the end of WWII, had jumped from doubling approximately every century to doubling every 25 years. …presently, every 12 hours our accumulated knowledge doubles. We are in a world of exploding knowledge we can barely keep up with; however, we are still described in scripture as fools; men and nations walk in an empty-minded manner, darkened in sin and ignorance such that they cannot understand divine truth.
