Pastor D. Patrick Ramsey preached the following sermon on 4-10-22. I asked him for a copy of the transcript of his sermon because I believe that there are lots of Christians, particularly new ones, that do not have a clear understanding of this doctrine.
In hearing this sermon, I learned that the means of grace, which I talk about frequently, rest upon this doctrine. The union we have with Christ after being spiritually regenerated, is the foundation of all the grace we thereafter receive.
Below, you will find the pastor’s sermon, a 25-minute mp3; thereafter, a pdf of his sermon outline; and lastly, I pasted in some definitions of the words ‘priests‘ and ‘holy‘ from scripture. The source is the Strong’s dictionary numbers, for people who do not have knowledge of Hebrew and Greek words:

Strong’s dictionary gives the meaning of the words ‘priests’ and ‘holy’ from scripture.
The text below was copied from the KJV with Strong’s numbers (they are to enable an understanding of Hebrew and Greek for those with no knowledge of those languages).
Pastor Ramsey’s sermon and notes talk about Christian ‘saints.’ The following scripture is one location in the Bible wherein you can find that designation. But the references from the TSK at the end of this post give Old and New Testament references for those who would like to read them. Furthermore, if you click the link to Bible Hub, they will be ready to read withouth looking up.
The following information shows that saints are not some elite group of Christians like the Roman Catholic church has been teaching, but are regular, born-again Christians, called ‘saints’ by God and the apostles.
