This Bonnie Knopf song is based on Psalm 91. She is one of my favorite contemporary Christian artists. I love the emotional quality in her voice and her songs are about biblical themes. I first heard her on Family Radio.
Her song is asking the Lord to do what He says He will in His word. That is, she first knew His word, her heart was depending upon His words… the music was born out of that.
I was in a low mood this morning and began listening to Christian music, which quickly lifted me up.
