- Unprovable, unreliable and contradictory stories
- Distorted biblical views
- Self-centered, man-centered views
- Attack on future bodily resurrection
- Encouragement of unbiblical scriptural experience, and acceptance of untested revelations
- Endorsement of false doctrine and unbiblical teaching
- Encouragement to disregard discernment, and to accept demonic deception
- Undermining of word of God and the sufficiency of scripture
- Deceiving of people with false assurance
- Promotion of a different God; Jesus; and gospel
