Christophobia: War Against Christianity – Persecution/Martyrdom of Christians Today – Peter Hammond

I received the following video notification from Christian Sermons and Audio Books this morning and could was alarmed by its contents, particularly in regard to the numbers of Christians being martyred currently in the world.

As you listen, please consider the following points:

Dr. Hammond indicated below that Marxist regimes were responsible for the deaths of 160 million civilians in the 20th century; they are also responsible for most of the Christian persecution he discusses
The church in America is embracing CRT and other Marxist ideology [as I stated in more than one post, one cannot claim to represent Christ and Anti-Christ at the same time; such churches, though trendy, are doing just that, as Marxism is atheistic and claims Satan as a mentor]
America is quickly turning into a Marxist nation: leftist democrats, globalist elites and their followers are ushering it in

The content is 10 minutes in length, followed by a 1-minute ad for Stillwaters Revival Books and a 2-minute statement from Calvin’s Commentary on Jeremiah, 7:31.

India: missionaries have been kidnapped, murdered and burned alive by mobs of Hindu militants
Host Kate believed he was exaggerating
He stated what he has seen personally via his missionary work: the destruction of 100s of churches…
He has documented such in the following books: In the Killing Fields of Mozambique; Holocaust in Rwanda; and Faith Under Fire in Sudan
Therein, he documented the systematic, government organized persecution of Christians via Marxist regimes
He has seen bombings, rocket and artillery attacks in Sudan while preaching

Host Kate believed he was exaggerating

The reactions of several callers were enumerated, as were his responses to support his stats
The last caller he cited, stated that if Christians were in power, then they would be persecuting those of minority groups too, he cited evidence to the contrary as follows:
He distinguished historical trends before and after the Protestant Reformation
Post Reformation: introduction of rule of law; constitutional authority; representative governments; separation of powers
Before the Protestant Reformation, governments were only changed by violent over throws
After PR, some countries have had the opportunity to change their governments peacefully
Many examples of Atheistic states murdering millions
NO examples of Protestant Christians committing such atrocities
An explosive reaction to the fact that Atheism was the motive for killing
Atheist governments killed more than all other religions combined
The 20^th century was the bloodiest century in all of history for the following reasons:
Secular humanism has proven to be the most destructive religion of all time
Secular humanism states, espousing atheism and Darwinian social theories killed over 160 million of their own citizens in the 20^th century
Kate Protested: certainly not in the name of secular humanism or atheism?
Yes, exactly!
Marxist regimes, such as the Soviet Union, did kill over 160 million unarmed civilians in the 20^th century [soldiers not included in stats]
His talk ended, and he couldn’t hear what transpired after he hung up, as he didn’t have a radio on hand
However, based on the vitriolic reactions of the callers, they indicated, more clearly than his interview content, that Christophobia is alive and well in the world
He will use some of this content in the book he and a few others are working on: The War Against God
