False Christian teachings, trends….
This post contains Curtis Bowers’ Agenda Weekly video and several videos that support his content. He answered questions from the issue of last week [which I also posted] and then explained how the cult of Humanism has undermined the biblical family unit, and the roles of man and woman. This post contains a 10-minute video on autosuggestion, its message is something like the word-faith gospel. I typed out a transcript of the video and critiqued it a paragraph or few at a time. The critiques are biblical. I do not think the video is within the Christian biblical worldview and do not recommend just hearing that and leaving, without reading the critique.
This post contains a 13-minute video by Pastor Michael Grant on The Gospel Coalition, DEI, CRT and the body of Christ. I added some links for those who would know more on the pastors discussed: J D Greear; Tim Keller; and David Platt. Also, for those who belong to a SBC church, you must understand these ideas and be on guard, because these influences are not biblical and many churches have already been swallowed up by these Pagan / Communist ideologies….
There has been a scandal in the Charismatic Church surrounding Shawn Bolz. This post contains a video short that provides an overview of that scandal; it also provides a 28-minute video offering a lot more coverage; finally, a 85-minute video by Justin Peters Ministries that provides thorough coverage of the scandal. The last video is embedded, so it may be listened to on YouTube, but it also may be pulled down because Justin had it pulled down once already. I did record it and will upload it in portions if it is removed by YouTube.
The big named pastors in the Pastor Michael Grant video of this post are clearly veering from the Bible. They are making up their own religion. They are making errors that were characterized by other “theological liberal” so-called Christian denominations that were discussed recently herein, namely, Willow Creek Churches.
This post has an example from the Willow-Creek, Seeker-Friendly church model that failed miserably. It is an example of bringing the practices of the world into the church as MLJ discussed in the last post, Worldliness. There are still megachurches, they suffer from this problem. Though from the thousands who attend and appear to be excited and happy Christians you might not get that message. But the scandals are telling….
This post contains two videos: the first addresses the problem of theological liberals in mainline churches, typified by Bishop Buddy’s propaganda we all witnessed last Tuesday; the second video explains all the Christian denominations. The video on the Bishop assesses the problem she typifies in a few moments, then time was spent in treating a potential solution for that problem. I was encouraged in that he is a Gen z person….
The 8-minute Newsmax-video of this post featured Rev. Franklin Graham speaking about numerous things, including Bishop Buddy’s lecture of President Trump at the National Cathedral service of Tuesday. Graham stated several points regarding the errors of the bishop. I added several points that he did not mention, viewing the matter from the worldview of the activist bishop.
According to John MacArthur, who preaches the Bible, women preaching is heretical. It is a clear sign of rebellion against the word of God; the women’s movement is just that, rebellion. The evangelical church is the last frontier of this rebellion….
In the video SHORT of this post, Pastor Daniel EXPLAINS 7 reasons why Steven Furtick (SF) is a false teacher / preacher: SF is a manipulator; focuses on emotion; practices narcigesis; presents a false God; distorts the gospel; presents a pantheistic god [not the biblical God]; and SF presents a false Jesus. Pastor Daniel also recommended biblical preachers in the narrative of his post.
