Proverbs 5:22 The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him…. [Explained from Commentaries]

The two verses looked at in this post are some of the most frightening in the Bible. They are about those people who think they are getting away with sinning. These not only apply to the believer who is backsliding, but to those marauders who are doing smash and grabs; to those manipulators cheating to win elections; those malevolent globalists creating vaccines to harm others and rid the earth of them, or who are orchestrating famines to accomplish that end… but they are God’s words to all who think they can get away with sinning: the act of sin carries its own punishment. [I reviewed these for my own edification, as my attitude towards some sins is not yet biblical; hopefully, others will find this post worthy of contemplating.]

He described the various types of God’s judgments that have been unfolding via cultural events for the past half century. He also identified pastors who are receiving woke doctrines into their churches and clarified that false teachers are part of God’s judgments on us. In this post, the following verse is examined via 3 different Bible commentaries. Proverbs 9:17 “Stolen water is sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.” My reason for posting on this verse is that it is the type of thinking that keeps one stuck in sin; keeps one blind to sin, desiring sin, etc. The commentaries I chose are free commentaries from the Bible software, E-sword; they can also be found at Bible Hub. Using commentaries is especially necessary for new Bible students, because all verses of scripture have one meaning, that which God intended. It is necessary to discover that meaning. Many, speculate erroneously about the meaning of a verse or passage and never find out for sure what it means….

The following video shows celebrities, talk show hosts, a sports commentator, Paul Washer and Voddie Baucham taking a stand for Christ and talking of Him openly; it contrasts those people with those taking an open stance for Satan. The sports commentator’s remarks about sin were very helpful: he used scripture to talk about sin, but he also included himself in that group of sinners. He was able to confront the biggest cultural issues in a humble, loving manner.

This post contains a 14-minute video which is built around the preaching of Paul Washer. The vlogger inserted comments intermittently and showed scenes from our culture to reflect Washer’s words about the big problem in the western world, the hatred of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the process, the LGBTQ movement was certainly mentioned, showing people on both sides of it; abortion was also mentioned. Washer talked about Romans 1 sins in his sermon, Romans, verses 1:18-32 are inserted below the video for those who might want to review them.

This post contains two videos on hell. The first is 2-minutes 28-seconds in length; therein, Voddie Baucham provides a biblical explanation of hell that you may not have heard before. His explanation silences all those who say that it was unfair for God to have saved only some people from hell…. The second video, 15 minutes, is the son of pastor John Piper, Abraham Piper, who via Tic Toc rants and mocks hell. The video was produced because A Piper has over a million YouTube followers and his erroneous teaching needs to be challenged.

SBC Preacher J D Greear on Gay Marriage

The purpose of this post is to show what has happened to the values of, SBC preacher, J D Greear between the years of 2014 and 2021. He flip-flopped from holding biblical doctrine to holding un-biblical doctrine. In the initial video, from 2014, you will hear Pastors Voddie Baucham, Russell Moore and J D Greear discussing gay marriage. These men also say a lot about biblical marriage and what has happened via cultural influences. Each man was pro-Bible in his doctrine. In the second video, 2021, you will hear what J D Greear said then about gay marriage and homosexuality. His doctrinal stance had become anti-Bible. In the second video, sound advice is offered for SBC members.

John MacArthur – When A Nation is Abandoned by God – The Reprobate Mind

In the following video, Pastor John MacArthur reads from Romans 1 and explains the text which describes the stages of judgment that have been unfolding in America the past 50 plus years. MacArthur’s sermon provides a biblical explanation for what is happening in America right now. The judgment of abandonment was initially perceivable when the sexual revolution began in the 1970s; it became more apparent with the movements that followed; it is culminating with the trans movement which could not occur without the stage of the reprobate mind. He closes by saying that no group of senators, congressmen… can fix this because it is judgment from God.
