Can One Be Both Christian And Marxist? NO!

This post deals with the issue of Christians wrongly thinking that they can believe in ideas like CRT and still be Christian.

CRT derives from social Marxism. [See other posts in the CATEGORIES of CRT / CT and Social Justice / Identity Politics in this blog for a more complete explanation of the origins and purposes of social Marxism.]

One cannot believe in CRT / CT without subscribing to Marxism. The doctrines of CRT are thoroughly anti-biblical. That means they are anti-God; anti-Christ….

The purpose of this post is to state foundational truths which reveal that social Marxism opposes the Bible and God.

I believe that anyone who is born again and is learning to trust in Christ and His word will see that he cannot hold these contradictory beliefs; that he must therefore, choose one or the other.

A born-again Christian believes in THE God who created the world and revealed Himself to mankind via that creation and via the pages of holy scripture.

A Marxist believes that mankind created god to enable him to face the hardships of this life…as is seen in the following very brief statement by Marx, from Wikipedia:

The opium of the people (or opium of the masses) is a dictum used in reference to religion, derived from the most frequently paraphrased statements of German sociologist and economic theorist Karl Marx: “Religion is the opium of the people.” In context, the statement is part of Marx’s structural-functionalist argument that religion was constructed by people to calm uncertainty over their role in the universe and in society.[1][2][3][4]

So, when Marx stated above that religion was constructed by people, he was simultaneously stating that there is not god; that god is a figment of one’s imagination, created by him, to enable him to endure the hardships of life.

How can a Christian hold such a view? He cannot!

The following two very brief videos further illustrate what I just stated by providing instruction in logic, identifying foundational processes that the human rational mind uses every day; although most do not notice these things occurring.

The same topic, described by two different teachers in two different settings should help readers understand why a person cannot simultaneously be an atheist and a theist – cannot be both a Marxist and a Christian. That is, being an atheist prohibits one from being a theist; or to say it differently, believing there is no God prohibits one from believing there is a God.

The first video is by a religious individual who describes the field of knowledge known as logic and explains some basics that indicate the truth of my claim above.

[Please listen to the last video first because it is more interesting and it will enable the explanation of the first video to be more meaningful. I updated this post on 10-27-21, but did not change the order of the videos.]

The following video came from the YouTube site, The Thomistic Institute

The next video is set in a classroom wherein students are receiving instruction in logic. The teacher uses several examples that help to prove my opening statement; This video came from the YouTube site, Cross Examined

In closing, I have to say that the most likely reason that Christians want to support social Marxism, CRT…is to avoid being persecuted. As we know, by example, that anyone who disagrees with the political NARRATIVE of the LEFT is currently being punished for their dissent;  political correctness dictates we follow social Marxism and not deviate one iota.

To say that differently, in this culture, we are pressured by the strong arm of social Marxist political correctness to submit to the Marxist state narrative and follow the herd; we are strongly discouraged from dissenting from this narrative and thinking for ourselves by discovering facts and formulating our own opinions of things in the world.

In Marxist communist China, dissenters are thrown into re-education camps wherein their organs are harvested…the same will be happening in America. Presently, we are only cancelled, doxed, shamed, hated, de-platformed, etc. Persecution will increase as more people follow the herd without fighting back.

In every Marxist regime in history, dissenters have been punished severely; by firing squad, imprisonment, torture…. The Marxist state narrative MUST be submitted to. People are not permitted to believe facts, truth…; not permitted to believe in God; not permitted to be free.

The state is god in a Marxist nation and it will be ruling your life or you will pay an extreme price.

The Bible says in a thousand different ways that our God is sovereign. Therefore, if Marxism is swallowing up America, it is because God has permitted that to happen [as a means of judgment for turning from Him to follow our own selfish ways; for slaughtering 62 million babies; gay marriage…].

If that is the case, then true Christians are being tested: in the days of the apostles and thereafter, Roman Christians were tested when they were called, by Roman soldiers, to acknowledge that Caesar was lord, those who said that Christ is Lord, lost their lives.

If you read the Bible, then you would know that Christ said, those who deny Him, He would also deny. In other words, a basic requirement of following Him is to acknowledge that fact in the presence of others. Doing that in communist China presently costs Christians dearly; likewise, the cost of acknowledging Christ in America is increasing every day; it may soon cost you your life.

When you call yourself a Christian and also follow Marxism, you are very confused to say the least; a true Christian cannot do such a thing.

One of the works of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers is to show them their unbelief, their idolatry…; we have much sin, sinful habits, brainwashing, conditioning…to let go of during this earthly pilgrimage; to do so, we must submit to the Holy Spirit, not to the political narrative of the left….

Hebrews 12:1Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, [the faithful of chapter 11] let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
