In the 8 minute video of this post, Jeff Mayfield is noting the significant aspects of chapter one of a book he is studying with his congregation: Gentle and Lowly by Dane Ortlund. His message was basically, don’t wait to come to God after sinning because He is merciful to sinners and the rationale for that statement:
The National School Boards Association (NSBA), which denies CRT is being taught in K-12 schools, in a Sept. 29 letter (pdf) said parents at local school board meetings opposed to CRT and mask mandates are contributing to a “growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation” and asked President Joe Biden’s administration to address the issue. The NSBA letter states: “As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”
Merrick Garland and the Department of Justice* have indicated that they will be employing the FBI to prosecute parents who are concerned with the teaching of critical race theory in their children’s schools. The constitutional rights of free speech and protest are being ignored and a strange new law of the current administration seems to take precedence over what was established constitutional law. This shouldn’t surprise you: this is what happens in the midst of a radical revolution.
…So, while they built into the Constitution significant democratic elements, they also built in non-democratic features to protect liberty and prevent tyranny. It wasn’t simply that they favored representative government over direct democracy, though they did; it’s that they rejected the idea that “the majority wins” was by definition the just outcome.
The Archbishop of San Francisco issued a scathing statement saying the pro-abortion Women’s Health Protection Act (HR 3755) passed by Congress is something he’d expect from a “devout Satanist” rather than a devoted Catholic. Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone called out Catholic politicians, such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who had praised the pro-abortion measure saying it’s about people’s medical choices.
A trio of scientists at Pfizer were recorded speaking to undercover reporters about the existence of natural immunity to the virus that causes COVID-19, with one saying employees had been told not to discuss the protection publicly. Natural immunity refers to the protection people enjoy against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus after recovering from COVID-19. “When somebody is naturally immune—like they got COVID—they probably have better, like not better, but more antibodies against the virus,” said Nick Carl, one of the scientists. “So your antibodies are probably better at that point than the vaccination,” he added later.
