In case the title of this post doesn’t speak to you, I want to encourage you to listen to the 27 minute sermon herein because it thoroughly explains the relationship between the Passover and the Lord’s Supper, and much more. For example, I had never had a good understanding of what Jesus meant when He said in John 6 – unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. I knew that he was referring to the Lord’s Supper, but there is more than that in His words. This sermon will provide you with a fuller understanding of Jesus’ words; you will also have a greater appreciation of the interrelatedness of the Old and New Testaments and how the blood of the OT passover was looking forward to Jesus’ saving blood….

In the following account of the Welch revival of 1904, James Edwin Orr tells of how that revival began and how it spread to Canada and the US a year later.
If you want a sense for how the Holy Spirit works in true revivals, then you will gain from listening to Orr’s account. At one point, he compared Billy Graham’s revivals to the Welch revival just to show how much greater the work of the Spirit is in relation to planned revivals of man. …As Orr described how European societies were changed during the 18 months the Welch revival lasted, I thought of 2020 and how decadent the US has become. …However, inherent in Orr’s talk is the hope that the Welch revival began with the spiritual aspirations of one man – the Spirit used him to kick off a work of God. The Spirit of God can do that anytime He chooses.

This post contains two brief videos: a John MacArthur 4 minute sermon excerpt on 2 Thessalonians 2: 10-11 on God sending delusion and why that occurs; and a 6 minute video that shows that the following phenomena, that are occuring in the church, also occur in occult meetings: uncontrollable laughter; involuntary jerking and shaking; drunkenness; transfer of power, and an invisible force. I believe that the second video is a fine example of God sending delusion to those who will not believe His truth.
