The apostle Paul spoke of his thorn and why God gave it to him in the following verses: 2 Corinthians 12:7 So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. 8Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. 9But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” In his 5 minute devotional, J. R. Miller provides details about Paul’s meaning in the aforementioned verses; Miller’s words will be useful in your daily walk with Christ

Cuba: A Longing for Something Beyond the Material – Epoch Times Commentary
It’s one of the most arresting of the videos leaked out of Cuba on July 11, the day that tens of thousands of people all over the island took to the streets and spread the word on social media in a massive anti-government protest—the first since Fidel Castro seized power and set up a communist dictatorship in Cuba more than 60 years ago. The video, which can be seen on Instagram, comes from Bejucal, a town of 25,000 nine miles southwest of Havana. The protesters, mostly young people, chant “libertad!” (“liberty!”) over and over in rhythm and raise their fists. Leading them is a young Catholic priest in a black cassock.
US Won’t Investigate Governors Who Ordered Nursing Homes to Accept COVID-Positive Residents – Epoch Times
“It is outrageous that the Department of Justice refuses to investigate the deadly ‘must admit’ orders issued by governors in New York, Pennsylvania, and Michigan that resulted in the deaths of thousands of senior citizens. Where is the justice for nursing home victims and their grieving families?” he said in a statement. “These deadly orders contradicted the CDC’s guidance, and needlessly endangered the most vulnerable among us to the deadly COVID-19 virus,” he added, referring to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Van Morrison and Eric Clapton Take Back the Culture for Freedom – Epoch Times Commentary
When art is created by conformists—and at this moment the left are the biggest conformists possibly imaginable—it is sure to be worthless.
Speaking of which, as a member of the Motion Picture Academy, for the first time ever I didn’t even bother to vote this year, let alone watch the movies. Who needs Hollywood’s solemn lectures? But, there’s hope, big hope actually, from the music world, and at the highest levels. The Brits Van Morrison and Eric Clapton—two of the greatest stars of the last fifty years—have broken from the oh-so-tired, conventional “progressive” mold of popular music with not one, but two songs that push the content envelope. Paul Washer – I Know What Your god Is (Sermon Jam)
The following 10 minute sermon excerpt by Paul Washer is aimed at helping listeners understand the privilege that God has given them regarding kingdom work. He explains that we tend to view these opportunities wrongly. His critique of Christ followers clarifies how we tend to miss the mark. Furthermore, he noted that it is the work of God’s Spirit to wake us up to our sinfulness, wrong priorities…that we might seek Him in prayer to get right. [I have found that I need to listen to Washer and preachers like him every couple of months that I might wake up again to what is important.]
Cuban Protestors Are BAD for Democrats | Senator Marsha Blackburn | Huckabee
Senator Marsha Blackburn stated that the Cuban protests are not in the streets because of covid, but over the Cuban communist party’s harsh dealings with them. …They are starving, unemployed, and seeking freedom from the oppression of the communist party in Cuba. …The Biden administration is discouraging Cubans from coming to America, yet they are letting anybody in the southern border. Furthermore, those who come in at our southern border are secretly dispersed to all the states of our country in the dead of night. That is, the Biden administration is shipping illegals to all the states of the continental US, and putting on those states the burden of health care, housing, education…. Therefore, every state is a border state; every town in America is a border town.

To Stage the Counter-Counter-Revolution, GOP Must Learn From Lenin – Epoch Times
This is also no time for a “big tent” party. As the Lenin Democrats have illustrated so vividly since the planned and scripted rise of Barack Obama in 2008, a narrowly configured tent will do the job. Their party is a cozy little snuggery of woke tech oligarch billionaires with a chokehold on their media lackeys and access to more money than ever before in human history; and a seething, resentful, and violent underclass that functions as their “conscience” but more importantly as their street thugs and enforcers while posing as perpetual victims of their ideological opponents as they seek redress for their “legitimate grievances” (shopworn but still potent communist terminology).
What Is to Be Done? A New Economic Model – Epoch Times Commentary
In the United States, our own Marxist revolution arrived on our shores in the 1930s from Frankfurt in National Socialist Germany, when a handful of Marxist scholars… …Their weapon was something called critical theory, and it went like this: everything about a culture (in this case, Western civilization) needs to be questioned, attacked, mocked, invalidated, and destroyed. That’s it. What comes after was and remains not their problem. Some men, after all, really do just want to watch the world burn. …The death of JFK in 1963, racial unrest in mid-decade, more political assassinations in 1968, and, above all, the war in Vietnam and the rise of the baby boomers as they entered college proved the perfect petri dish for the destabilization and overthrow of the existing order.
What Is to Be Done? Restore Federalism and Elect Trump as Vice President- Epoch Times Commentary
One of the things the Left hates most about the United States of America is that there are 50 of them. A leftist revolution is more easily accomplished in a country in which power is already consolidated in a single place among a small group of people. …For what the gangsters, almost all of them Democrats, learned and imparted to the academics was this: if you could take over the principal city of a given state—Chicago, New York, Detroit, Kansas City, et al.—you could then capture and own the state house and the mechanisms and monies of the state itself. …son of a bootlegger in Boston become president John F. Kennedy. A capstone was the presidency of William Jefferson Blythe III, better known as Bill Clinton, who learned the use and abuse of power growing up in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where he sat at the feet of the “retired” New York City gangster Owney Madden….
