In his teaching today, Sinclair Ferguson used a couple of verses of scripture to recount the time in his life when he was guided into the understanding that he was a sinner.
That realization undermined a mindset which he had been operating under, wherein he believed himself to be a basically good person who erred on occasion…. Such is the mindset of the “natural man,” not the Christian.
Ferguson’s video is certainly worth contemplating, as its contents can enable us to see such things operating in our own lives; to see them is necessary.
