During the video, Pastor Grant talks briefly about ‘cancel culture’ as he was accused of canceling Alistair Begg. He provided a sufficient pastoral response. He just left out one element, which I addressed below the videos.

Jon’s 47-minute video is more in depth, for those who want more than was posted above. Also, this video was done 20 hours later than Pastor Michael Grant’s and has more current info.
[I used two of Jon’s videos when I did a recent mini-series about leftist pastor Tim Keller. Jon has a lot of videos on Cultural Marxism and other false ideologies, and false teachers. Subscribers asked him to speak about Alistair Begg.]

Another aspect of the definition of Cancel culture not mentioned in video 1 above:
Cancel Culture is the mob that upholds or enforces the (politically correct) narrative of the progressive political left. Anyone who opposes that narrative is cancelled by that mob.
The unknown entity is the fountain head of Cultural Marxism [probably some body of globalists?].
Why do they blindly follow a narrative that comes from some unknown authority of the state?
They believe that doing so will qualify them to be seen as ‘good people.’ Also, they want to avoid being cancelled themselves – fear-based following.
They are actually something else…. (See links at the end of post for two posts in this blog that describe these followers.)
People who think for themselves; that is, people who dissent from the leftist Marxist narrative, are labeled ‘dissenters.’
The left sees dissenters as evil people. But such people may be guilty of nothing else but disagreeing with the left. However, that will not be tolerated.
All communist nations are run by such leftist leaders.
What do communist nations do with dissenters?
They correct their views / beliefs in ‘re-education camps.’
For example, the CCP re-educates their dissident citizenry by harvesting their organs, beating, raping and otherwise brutalizing them for their great crime of disagreeing with the ‘narrative.’
America is not yet a communist nation; however, there are signs that we are quickly becoming one:
The January 6th incident is an example of such a thing happening in the USA. According to Curtis Bowers, there were 200 FBI agents in the crowd that encouraged those protesters to enter the capital. Bowers even noted that there had to be one death, so that the News agencies could exaggerate the significance of the incident. (See link to his video below.)
In other words, FBI operatives of the left, escalated Trump supporters, encouraging them to violate boundaries such that they might make examples out of them for their irresponsible conduct.
What did our political left hope to accomplish?
They wanted to tarnish the name and reputations of Trump and his followers. They rightly assume that many people will be satisfied with some superficial explanation of the event, by one of the leftist mainstream news media outlets, and base their voting decisions on such a superficial and fictitious account.
Additionally, and related to video one above, CRT / CT and LGBTQ movements are parts of the larger narrative of the progressive Marxist political left. Therefore, the politically correct mob is pressuring everyone, including pastors, and congregants to compromise biblical leanings. The God of the Bible is not acceptable to the Atheist Marxist left.

How did the political left respond to the $2 billion of property damage committed by BLM in 2020? There was no response.
BLM got away with burning cities because BLM is one of the numerous Marxist, leftist groups that is aligned with the democrat left in DC.
Cultural Marxists run this culture.
This is an election year, will we see more burnings and chaos in the blue cities?
