Vladimir Lenin Called Them “Useful Idiots”

As I was listening to the video of my recent post, Agenda: Grinding America Down, by Curtis Bowers, I learned What Vladimir Lenin called those fools that helped him come to power, “useful idiots.”

Since I have been studying Marxism, the democratic left, BLM and other communist groups, I have been troubled that so many support these forces which will inevitably take their freedom, rights, children, property…. I have also been angered that people can be so stupid, putting America at risk.

When I heard Curtis Bowers use the term “useful idiots,” describing the people that Lenin used to come to power, I realized that those same people are the dupes that I have been struggling to understand.

It turns out that many knowledgeable people have written about them. Below, I quoted some well-known authors…to describe these foolish people and the harm they have done in history to date. They are ‘useful’ to political leaders in helping to DESTABILIZE a nation.

The term “useful idiots” has been attributed to Lenin, as a description of those mindless people in the Western democracies who would always find ways to excuse whatever the Soviet Union did. Columnist Mona Charen’s new book Useful Idiots shows that such people are still with us.

Long after the Soviet Union’s horrors had become too widely known around the world for their sympathizers in the West to be able to get away with whitewashing the USSR, new Communist dictatorships arose to become the new objects of the affections of the Western intelligentsia and of like-minded people in the media and in politics.

As Mona Charen’s book makes painfully clear, this usually happened in a pattern that was repeated again and again, with the same useful idiots saying the same kinds of things again and again. She spells this out and names names, quoting Peter Jennings, Jesse Jackson, Anthony Lewis, Ted Kennedy, Ted Turner and a long list of others.

The founding of the Castro dictatorship in Cuba set the pattern that was followed later in Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Grenada. By initially concealing the fact that he was a Communist, and having some non-Communists around him as window dressing, Fidel Castro was able to play the role of a popular liberator, out to end oppression, hold free elections, and do all sorts of good things for “the people.”

The useful idiots in the United States and other Western democracies ate it up. Many still do, to this very moment.

Once in power, Castro tolerated no opposition, held no free elections, and established a police state that made the previous dictators look like amateurs. Those who spoke out against what was happening were jailed or executed. So were those who tried to flee the country.

This last example connects Saul Alinsky, the useful idiots and the democratic left; it also clarifies Alinsky’s plan that is the democratic left’s handbook:

How to create a social state by Saul Alinsky:

There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.

1. Healthcare– Control healthcare and you control the people.
2. Poverty– Increase the Poverty level as high as possible; poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
3. Debt– Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4. Gun Control– Remove the ability to defend themselves from the government. That way you are able to create a police state.
5. Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).
6. Education– Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.
7. Religion– Remove the belief in the God from the government and schools.
8. Class Welfare– Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more disconnect, and it will be easier to take (tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Does this sound like what is happening to the United States of America?

Saul Alinsky merely simplified Vladimir Lenin’s original scheme for world conquest by communism, under Russian rule. Stalin described his converts as “Useful Idiots”

The Useful idiots have destroyed every nation in which they have seized power and control. It is presently happening at an alarming rate in the US. “It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere”.

If you question any of the above, just search the phrase, “useful idiots” and you will find much on them. You might even look into the 135 million fatalities caused by communist regimes which those idiots helped bring to power, from 1900 to date.

Curtis Bowers’ two-part documentary brings a lot of these matters to light; it is a matter of urgency that American citizens be awakened to this great threat.

This great threat may be a great judgment from God for the 62 million babies that have been slaughtered; for gay marriage…it is certainly a time to turn to God in fervent prayer.

[7-19-23 Addendum: I want to add to my opening statements, that the events unfolding in our nation have more to do with God’s judgments against America than the personal choices of Americans today. Pastor John MacArthur brings that out in many of his more recent sermons. Therein, he speaks of Romans 1 type judgments from God that have been unfolding since the 1960’s: the music / drug / sexual revolution that began then and was followed by feminist revolution, homosexual revolution, and now, transgender revolution. In looking at Romans 1, he equated the trans revolution with the ‘reprobate mind,’ indicating that the only way a man can perceive himself to be a woman is to already have been in the possession of a reprobate mind, a mind devoid of reason; and those legislators who are making laws to protect transgenderism and punish those seeking to be righteous [see Isaiah 5] also possess a reprobate mind. The highest offices of this land are being governed by that mind….

Additionally, I believe that there are at least two reasons the current administration is so supportive of LGBTQ…: 1. For votes; 2, because globalists want to rid the earth of much of the current population: if LGBTQ becomes even more popular and the youth and their parents continue to diligently seek social relevance via mutilation of themselves, many will be rendered incapable of reproducing, helping the globalists reach their goal of diminishing the earth’s population to around 500 million. The vaccines are also aiding in this way too, it seems. [Paragraph added 11-30-23.]

ROMANS 1:18-32    ESV:
