Things unseen is a podcast that airs M-F. Sinclair Ferguson spent the entire 5 days talking about various aspects of baptism; his aim was to provide foundational understanding. He did not get into the typical arguments about baptism.
What he said in the following video was news to me and I wanted to pass it along. His message was very easy to grasp, basically he described what was pictured at Jesus’ baptism, you will easily see how that pictures the gospel message.
He also encouraged believers to consider their baptisms in light of what he taught; he referred to it as ‘improving’ your baptism, as that is how the reformers spoke of the ideas he conveyed to his listeners.
