John Henry – the satanic deception of millions
The video in this post takes a strong stance against abortion. But I am sure that John Henry (vlogger), pastor Voddie Baucham, and John MacArthur would say of any of the sins mentioned in this video, that there is forgiveness with God. That all sins can be forgiven, if they are owned and confessed; and if one seeks grace to forsake them.
I too believe that.
To be a Christian is to be a soldier, engaged in warfare against one’s sin daily, via the strength of the Holy Spirit. That is a lot more difficult than it sounds because sinners have strong habits, addictions… to their besetting sins in particular, and choosing to seek grace instead of indulging in sin is a struggle because of the deception, the brainwashing we have been subjected to in this culture and our inherited sinfulness.
Additionally, since the Baby Boomer generation, this nation has been bombarded with advertising that has deceived us into believing that we deserve to indulge every type of lust, desire, imagination we might conceive…. Hence, we are under strong judgment from God this very day which can be seen in the rapid moral deterioration of our society.
The Bible makes it clear that people are born spiritually dead, ‘in Adam.’ In that state, Satan is their master; their natural desires are in line with his kingdom.
When one is ‘born again,’ he becomes alive spiritually; then, it is possible to not sin. Yet, Satan spends much energy trying to ensnare such people and his world order is set up to facilitate his endeavors….

- The 11-minute video opened with a clip of actress Anne Hathaway making statements about abortion on the TV show, The View
- A paraphrase of her remarks: This is not a conversation about abortion, it is about a woman’s right to health care… it is about human rights… the freedom we all need to be able to choose and build our lives and to have access to excellent health care
- Between her remarks, pastor Voddie Baucham is shown at a pulpit saying, You need to finish your statement, you mean, a woman’s right to hire a doctor to assassinate her unborn child
- Vlogger John Henry proceeded to illustrate that what Anne Hathaway (AH) was stating which the host of The View were agreeing with was a lie of Satan
- Satan promises joy, happiness, fulfillment, wealth, fame and power [shown via images], all of which are snares to enslave people
- Pornography / sexual sin illustrated
- John MacArthur citing stats on porn sites and users: 4 million porn sites on the web trafficked by 80 million users a day; more than all the viewers / users on Netflix, Twitter and Amazon
- The enslavement of addiction, which began because of Satanic lies, was expounded upon via images and explanations
- AH was shown stating that she considered her own abortion an act of ‘mercy’
- John Henry used images and words to show how her statement about abortion equating to mercy was an example of Satanic deception
- [Romans 1 states that when God gives over a nation to its own depravity that an advanced stage in the process of judgment is displayed by people developing ‘depraved minds; reprobate minds’ which cannot think rationally. Our society is full of examples of people believing absurdities. I’m in my 70s now, and if someone would have told me it would be like this in the 21st century, I would not have been able to conceive of how absurd even the leaders of our nation have become.]

- John Henry cited the following scripture on Jesus’ temptation: Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’”
- Jesus was our example that we need to believe God’s word over Satan’s [truth vs lies]
- Images shown that portray the snares of addictions, Satan’s lies
- Voddie Baucham spoke of Proverbs 1:10-19, words Solomon spoke to his son regarding warnings against being enticed into evil
- Baucham explained that Solomon’s words provide the meaning that lurks behind the façade of lies that Satan speaks through people – as he was doing in the example of AH above
- That is, although speakers articulate their ideas with gentleness, seeming compassion…, the meaning behind such words is evil
- AH’s words could be taken as encouragement to do the same; and since she spoke them with seeming gentleness, compassion, empathy…; and since she is esteemed in this culture and is famous, popular and has more social power than many who will hear her words, those words carry significance with them. She might as well be shouting from a high place, it is just fine to kill the unborn child in your womb; I did it because I’m merciful! It is not wrong! I am still a good person… etc.
- Whereas, the God who created her totally disagrees, as she would know if she read the New Testament, or even just the 4 gospel accounts of Christ’s ministry
- Millions of people in this society are enslaved by Satan, numerous examples given as to how
- If you died today, would you go to heaven or hell?

- Rom 1:32 Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.
- Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Mat 13:41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
- He encouraged hearers to repent and believe the Gospel, and to surrender to Christ’s Spirit and die to selfishness, he cited the following scripture
- Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
