The Biblical Gospel: how to share it

The following short videos teach new Christians how to share the Biblical gospel message. It is important to understand the gospel message such that you might proclaim it to another, not only for their salvation; but because possessing such a grasp of the gospel message will enable you to be able to meditate upon it in your walk with the Lord.

Meditating upon it is essential because, as you will find, knowing it in theory is not the same as knowing it such that you can apply it in your daily walk when you sin. And as you grow in your sanctification, you will progressively see more of your sin; that is, you will be leaning on the gospel more and more.

If you meditate upon the gospel message, you will find that mainstream Christianity’s understanding of it is very incomplete. It is diluted; its importance and mighty power are obscured by their superficial views and presentations of it.

The first video below, The Bridge, is good in that it gives the viewer a picture of what takes place via the application of the gospel to one’s life; also, it provides all of the essential scriptures that are necessary to convey the message. However, it does not provide sufficient understanding of those verses. But later videos will. The longest video below is 11 minutes long; the shortest (3) videos are 2-3 minutes long; the remaining video is 5 minutes long.

I think that one could benefit from viewing all of them and then constructing his own presentation from all the elements provided by the 5.

This next video is by Paul Washer, it provides a thorough background for the Bridge video. It might take a new Christian some time to grasp all that is said by Washer, but with Bible study, understanding will come. Washer’s description is excellent and very worthy of study.

In the above video, Washer spoke of the Damascus road conversion of the apostle Paul. That occurred in Acts chapter 9. Paul had been present for the stoning of Stephen in Acts 7, and was enroute to Damascus to persecute Christians…but the risen Lord Jesus Christ confronted Paul on the Damascus road, making him the apostle of the Gentiles.

The following video is a shorter presentation by Washer that should supplement the information given above.

The following video is very short and is similar to the opening video in that it is mainly about presenting the gospel message. It lacks the fullness of the above videos, but provides some information that the other videos do not provide.

This last video is very short, and may provide other helps that the above do not.

In closing, I want to encourage all new Christians and older ones too, to learn the Biblical gospel message; to meditate upon it and be ready to proclaim it when that opportunity presents itself.
