This 7 minute video looks at sin from a different perspective than is common to the Bible. It is biblical, but goes into just how Satan gets us to love the things of self and to be stuck in a sinful state. And that he doesn’t want us to sin in such a way as to realize our need for the Savior.
This state is presented by Chambers as a subtle state wherein the person is unaware of the peril to his soul.
Things of self such as self-pity; conceit, sympathy; rights of the self and so on, things we don’t easily see as sinful, but that are sinful; these are shown to be real dangers to the soul.
It will give you something to think about when you’re examining yourself.
