This post, which is about the public confession of sin, is mostly to Christians, because the Bible states that humans need to repent to God for their sins, because all sin is against Him.
Many modern Christians may not know much about repentance, but those who read their Bibles will find that they are called to do so by many scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments.
The following verses are from Exodus 34 where Moses asked God to show him His glory [from Bible Hub, KJV – emboldening and bracketed statements are mine]:
34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty….
[One remains in his guilt if he doesn’t seek forgiveness from God, and those who remain in guilt will pay the price for their sins in hell, according to God.]
The above intro is necessary because people in the US are being called upon to repent to some mysterious god of political correctness when they have committed a transgression of some unwritten, rule from the every changing pc rulebook.
The question that everyone who subscribes to political correctness needs to ask himself is, To whom am I repenting?
According to God’s commandments in Exodus 20, He is the only God; and it is to Him that one needs to repent of sin, of any wrongdoing.
Those who repent to humans are idolaters.
Those who assume the position of authority requiring others to repent of wrongdoing to them, are false gods.
Both the above groups are in danger of the real God’s judgment if they, themselves, do not repent to God and forsake their sinful conduct.

If you view the following examples in terms of the biblical truth above, then you will discover how outrageous, and how silly the entire scenario is.
These people, who are doing the repenting, have a fear of man and no fear of God; Jesus warned of such fear in Matthew:
10: 28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
The above video highlighted something that took me some time to see about Trump, he defied political correctness and those who enforce it. I loved that about him. There aren’t too many in DC who will do the same.
