You may not view yourself as a backslider, but if you realize that your walk of faith is not what it ought to be, listen and get some encouragement to draw near to the Lord.
The above message made me think of James 4, verse 8a:
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
