I Ain’t Apologizing (The Cancel Culture Song) – Jon Harris

The music video of this post is from the YouTube site, Conversations that Matter.

Jon Harris is an author and a blogger, until this video, I didn’t know he was a musician. His site is valuable because he has many critiques on false teachers and pastors, such as Tim Keller and David Platt.

I’m posting his music video because it is very appropriate for Christian voters.

Lyrics:

I Ain’t Apologizing (The Cancel Culture Song)

Verse 1

Well a man told me on the internet

At least that what I think he was

That my views were too offensive

He said I should lose my job

But he promised not to report me

If I would do this one thing

Give up my opinions

My faith and liberty

And this is what I told him

Chorus

I ain’t apologizing for what I didn’t do wrong

The Bible on my dashboard the flag out on my lawn

And you can bet I’ll dig my boots in

Cuz my daddy didn’t raise no son

Who’d disrespect his country or turn his tail and run

Verse 1

They say the country’s filled with haters

And only they know how to love

Folks like me are trouble

Cuz we just don’t go along

So they want to take our children

And teach them how to hate

The families they grew up in

And how to love the State.

Verse 2

Where it could be heading

When doctors can’t do their jobs

Monuments keep falling

Police surrender to the mob

And parents can’t trust teachers

And teachers can’t trust kids

And kids can’t tell their parents

What bathroom they went in

Verse 3

I wonder what our Founding Fathers

Would think if they could see us here

Fighting wars a world away

While the borders disappear

Well I bet they’d have opinions

And I bet they’d state their case

Which would likely get them cancelled

In today’s United States
