The following 50 minute sermon by Dr. Voddie Baucham undermines the popular book by Matthew Vines: God and the Gay Christian: The Biblical case in Support of Same-Sex Relationships.
Vines based his defense of homosexuality on the false presupposition that there are only 6 verses in the Bible that speak against it. Dr. Baucham shows that Vines was very wrong; furthermore, Dr. Baucham shows Christians how a conversation with Gays about Leviticus 18…can lead to a gospel presentation.
For those Christians who have friends and family who are homosexual and want to be able to lovingly present the gospel to them, knowing the contents of this sermon is a necessity.
Furthermore, this sermon is very beneficial to helping Christians understand their own poverty of spirit; that is essential to every Christian’s sanctification!
