In the following video, Huckabee uses several newspaper articles in his discussion of the DOJ and concerning the poor health conditions and economic strife of the middle class in CA.
I recommend pausing the video to at least read the headlines of the articles for a fuller understanding of his critiques, particularly the local newspaper story about the problem with human feces on CA streets and subsequent return of old diseases that had been conquered by modern medicine (if you’re viewing from a pc, you’ll be able to read the articles).
He then addressed how liberal democratic policies are crippling the economy in CA by driving out small business; and causing yet more members of the greatly declining middle class to move to Nevada or Texas with the last automaker following them.
He cites a recent bill passed in CA, AB5, which is antagonistic towards business owners, even tech companies, their chief industry.
He closed by calling CA voters to go to the polls and vote the democratic authors of these terrible policies out of office so that they might see what it feels like to be unemployed. (Some of them are millionaires, so they wouldn’t feel any economic pinch, however.)
For Christian voters, see scriptures below video that indicate Huckabee is correct in addressing such matters; that followers of Christ are to be concerned about such things, which would undoubtedly include voting responsibly.
Below the scripture verses is a reference to an earlier post that used two videos to show why there is an exodus of business owners and middle class Americans from California. Each of the two videos is from a different perspective, that viewers might more accurately understand the rationale of the migrating middle class from this and other democratic run states.

This movie is free to Amazon Prime members. I watched it twice and purchased a copy to loan out. Before viewing the movie, I did not understand how Democrats were establishing a voter base via creating welfare cities and sanctuary cities. The film examines this and I remember it focusing on Detroit and Newark, NJ; and California’s sanctuary cities to explain this phenomenon to voters.
The film is also funny, as it is a parody on the Wizard of Oz, Gilbert makes the point that Obama’s work has been like that of the Wizard, when the curtain is pulled back and people see reality, all the utopian fantasies evaporate….
