AGENDA Weekly Brief

Week of September 2-8

Dear Friends,

Charles Spurgeon wrote, “Whenever we feel weak in our duties, let us go to the Word of God, and the Christ in the Word, for power, and this will be the best of power. The power of our natural abilities, the power of our acquired knowledge, the power of our gathered experience, all these may be vanity; but the power that is in the Word will prove effectual…Let us not attempt to carry on Christ’s war with the weapons of Satan! There is nothing so cutting as the Word of God. Keep to that!”

1. BLACKROCK’S ATTACK ON HOME OWNERSHIP: Democratic Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. explained how investment behemoths BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard are “robbing Americans of the ability to buy homes” by outbidding potential homebuyers with cash offers and then renting those same homes at high prices. RFK Jr. said, “Monthly mortgage payments for homebuyers are up 20 percent just in the last year, and that’s because interest rates have doubled. Meanwhile, the cost of the average home has gone from $250K to $400K just since 2019. And those higher home prices have also driven up the cost of rent. So now Americans are paying a third of their income for rent. That’s the highest ratio since records were kept.”

Former Trump senior economic advisor Stephen Moore explained that Biden is “making first-time homeownership harder for young families for two reasons”: (1) inflation and (2) a significant rise in mortgage rates, both spurred by runaway government spending.

Ed. Note: “You will own nothing and be happy” is simply the World Economic Forum’s rephrase of Karl Marx’s goal, “Abolition of private property!” It has never been more important to own real assets, use money wisely, and maintain financial freedom. For more on BlackRock, see our recent interview with Alex Newman.

2. AMERICAN NATIONAL AND HOUSEHOLD DEBT CONTINUES TO SOAR: The Federal Reserve Bank of New York reports that total American household debt stands now at $17.06 trillion, with credit card debt topping $1 trillion. Economist Michael Faulkender commented, “For younger households facing rising rent, restart of student loan payments, and rising credit card debt burden, they are struggling. This is exacerbated by the fact that wages have not kept up with inflation, and many households are burning through the savings they accumulated during the pandemic. For these households, Bidenomics is a complete bust.”

Meanwhile, the interest on U.S. national debt is $600 billion, on track to surpass Medicaid, SNAP (food stamps), and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) later this year.

Ed. Note: Proverbs 22:7 says, “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”

3. ANOTHER DAY IN THE D.C. SHOW TRIALS: D.C. Judge Tim Kelly, appointed by President Trump in 2017, sentenced Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio, who wasn’t even in DC on January 6, to 22 years in prison. The DOJ is seeking 120 days in prison for InfoWars host Owen Shroyer, who was outside the Capitol building on January 6, but warned people not to enter it. Former Trump economic advisor Dr. Peter Navarro “has been convicted of contempt for the January 6th Committee for refusing to respond to its subpoenas for information properly covered by presidential ‘executive privilege.’” Frank Gaffney writes, “Peter Navarro’s prosecution is the latest manifestation of the serial weaponization of the Justice Department and judiciary against Team Biden’s opponents.”

4. THE MARXIST D.C. JURY POOL: Only 8% of D.C. residents surveyed in a recent poll said they would definitely acquit Donald Trump in a trial. Pollster Richard Baris writes, “None of the Jan. 6 defendants were convicted by ‘a jury of their peers.’ They were convicted in a deeply corrupt jurisdiction by a jury pool that is to the left of the nation on the ideological spectrum between 40 and 50 points. Those lending the D.C. jurisdiction legitimacy are the same types of people who watched Soviet show trials send dissidents to gulags and Nazis march Jews to death camps. They’re either dangerously ignorant, cowards in the face of evil, or evil themselves. These defendants’ lives are being sacrificed so a corrupt system can set up precedent against their chief political rival.”

5. PUBLIC SCHOOLS STILL DESTROYING KIDS: Colorado’s Jefferson County Education Association (JCEA) (representing 80,000 students) was caught encouraging teachers to break the law by providing secret “gender surveys” using “paper and pencil” to ask students their “preferred pronouns.” One mother of 3 school children in the district said she felt “deceived, lied to, taken advantage of.”

Billionaire Elon Musk blamed California schools for infecting his son Xavier with the “woke mind virus,” leading to Xavier’s “identification” as a woman at age 16. AM Greatness reports, “A ‘drag’ performer arrested 22 years ago for possessing both child pornography and illicit drugs has been hired to be the school principal of an Oklahoma City elementary school, and the school district is defending its decision.” The College Fix reports that many college towns are moving even further left, causing red states to turn purple or even blue.

Breitbart’s John Hayward writes, “The Dem Party is all-in on the idea that the State owns your children and can indoctrinate, or even physically modify, them as it sees fit, without your consent or even knowledge.”

Ed. Note: Around 100 years ago, John Dewey, the “father” of modern education, whose ideas permeate every public school today, predicted, “The true children of the future… (will be) more socialist than capitalist, more collectivist than individualist.” Parental outrage will not reverse 100+ years of systemic indoctrination. Public schools are corrupting children, not just with curriculum but also with technology-fueled peer culture. For solutions, see publicschoolexit.com.

6. CHRISTIAN FINNISH MP FACES SECOND “HATE SPEECH” TRIAL: Finnish MP Päivi Räsänen and Bishop Juhana Pohjola were prosecuted with “hate speech” for publically speaking against sexually perverted lifestyles. Over one year ago, the Helsinki District Court dismissed all charges, but the prosecutor filed an appeal against the verdict. Räsänen and Pohjola appeared in court again last week. Räsänen testified, “I know that the prosecution is trying to make an example of me to scare others into silence… With God’s help, I will remain steadfast and continue defending everyone’s human right to free speech.” The Washington Stand exhorts, “Americans of good faith must start with prayer and then stand up and speak. If we do not stand up now, our rights will continue to disappear, as we have seen in Finland.”

Ed. Note: In John 15:18-19, Jesus said, “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

7. CHRISTIANITY TODAY ENDORSES AI SERMONS: Christianity Today, the magazine founded by Billy Graham, recently published an article titled, “I Used ChatGPT for Six Months to Help My Pastoral Ministry. Here’s What Worked.” The author, who described himself as a “young Taiwanese pastor,” wrote, “We can actually use the intelligence of ChatGPT to examine whether our words could unintentionally offend congregants with different political identities and positions.” He further claimed, “Preaching—be it preparing a sermon or delivering the words to a congregation—is a process that currently involves a speaker, the influence of numerous people living and dead, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that within these actions, there is room for the work of AI too.”

Evangelist and author Justin Peters responded with these words, “This is horrific. This is egregiously sinful. Any pastor who would even consider using AI to write sermons should do himself and his flock a service by getting out of the pulpit. That CT and [Russell] Moore would actually promote this without the faintest hint of shame shows you how far gone they really are.”

Ed. Note: See here and here for more on the dangerous woke ideology of Russell Moore and Christianity Today. In 2 Timothy 4, Paul exhorted Timothy, “Preach the Word…”

8. PFIZER’S RIGGED TRIALS AND VACCINE INJURIES: FDA documents obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that Pfizer tested its Covid vaccine booster on only 23 people before the FDA approved the shot for public use in September 2021. In a recent video, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. broke down the results of the initial Pfizer clinical trials and calculated, “For every life they save by preventing a death from COVID, they are killing four people from cardiac arrest.”

Political commentator Megyn Kelly said she now regrets taking the Covid vaccine, and says she developed an “autoimmune issue” as a result. The Daily Skeptic reports that German Health authorities claim they have not yet investigated Covid vaccine adverse events because the system is “overwhelmed” with adverse events.

Ed. Note: For more on vaccine injuries, read Repeated COVID Shots Driving Dangerous Variants, Turbo Cancers.

9. RETURN OF COVID TYRANNY AND VACCINES: Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, a “former” Communist leader, a key ally of Bill Gates, and the current head of the World Health Organization, declared, “COVID is here to stay and that we will continue to need tools to fight it.” Tedros recommended people take additional “vaccines.” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced that Biden will once again wear a mask around people and indoors.

A few schools and colleges in Alabama, Maryland, Louisiana, and Georgia have re-imposed mask mandates. The New York Times published a fall guide to vaccine shots featuring various “experts,” such as Dr. Peter Hotez. The Defender notes, “None of these experts, however, addressed any of the potential safety risks posed by these vaccines.” Dr. Pierre Kory said,  “There is no medical justification for a healthy 6-month-old or older child to be vaccinated for COVID-19.”

Ed. Note: For more, read Are We Facing Lockdowns 2.0? by Jeffrey A. Tucker.

10. GOP ESTABLISHMENT WANTS TO SURRENDER AHEAD OF MASSIVE FUNDING BATTLE: The U.S. House needs to pass funding legislation by September 30. Former Trump advisor Stephen Miller tweeted, “Funding for the Deep State expires at midnight on September 30th. After that, it’s up to Congress to decide which salaries, programs, and activities to fund. This is the most important legislative battle of the Biden presidency. And there isn’t a close second.”

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) says Republican leadership is claiming that a shutdown must be avoided (and therefore, all of Biden’s radical priorities continue receiving funding) so that impeachment proceedings against Biden can proceed. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) revealed the truth about Kevin McCarthy’s speakership: “No vote on Term Limits. No vote on a balanced budget. No plan to have individual appropriations bills considered. No full release of J6 tapes. No spending cut to raise the Debt Limit.” Gaetz continued, “Trump has been charged with 91 counts. We haven’t even subpoenaed Hunter Biden – or any Biden, for that matter. I know it is the tendency of political leaders to self-preen, but the truth is that while some GOP House work has made positive reforms – it isn’t good enough. Not even close, actually. We are going to have to seize the initiative and make some changes.”

11. BILL GATES WANTS TO CHOP DOWN 70 MILLION TREES: The Bill Gates-funded Kodama Systems plans to cut down and bury at least 70 million acres of forests in the United States (mostly in California) over the next ten years to reduce “global warming.” The Epoch Times’ Joshua Phillip observes that none of that wood will be available for home construction. Wall Street Silver suggested, “[Gates] wants to increase the cost of timber so people can’t afford to build houses?

Revolver News reports, “Many are speculating that Gates’ proposal to cut down and bury 70 million acres of trees aligns perfectly with the World Economic Forum’s vision: a future where people live in small pods and eat bugs while Gates and his ilk live high on the hog, enjoying everything the world has to offer.”

In other climate control news, the U.K. Telegraph reports, “Property owners who don’t comply with new energy rules may face prison.” Dr. Jordan Peterson responded, “Now it’s literally prison for the peasants, under the Net-Zero tyrants. You truly are the carbon they are trying to eradicate.”

12. SOROS GOES ALL IN FOR 2024: In a recent Politico article, Alex Soros (son of billionaire globalist George Soros) said the Open Societies Foundation will be highly engaged in the 2024 U.S. Presidential election and wrote, “As someone who spends up to half their time working on the Continent and thinks former United States President Donald Trump — or at least someone with his isolationist and anti-European policies — will be the Republican nominee, I believe a MAGA-style Republican victory in next year’s U.S. presidential election could, in the end, be worse for the EU than for the U.S. Such an outcome will imperil European unity and undermine the progress achieved on many fronts in response to the war in Ukraine.”

Charlie Kirk responded, “Trump has promised to stop the killing and end the [Ukraine] war. I guess to the globalist crowd, peace in Eastern Europe is bad for ‘progress.’ You do the math.”

13: NOTEWORTHY STORIES:

  • 22 years after 9/11, New York City is allowing the Muslim call to prayer to be broadcast over the city from loudspeakers.
  • The new Manual of Military Decorations and Awards from the Department of Defense mandates gender-neutral pronouns. As a result, an award given to Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman four-star Army Gen. Mark Milley must use the pronoun “themself” instead of “him.”
  • The National Australia Bank (NAB), one of the country’s four biggest banks, announced it will debank customers who make “profane, derogatory, discriminatory or harassing comments to any person” or inflict “psychological harm” on someone else.
  • Experienced toxicologist and epidemiologist Devra Davis, Ph.D., MPHresponded to new reports showing an increase in breast cancer among younger women: “There’s clear, compelling evidence that electromagnetic fields [EMFs] accelerate the growth of breast cancer cells.”
  • 53% of priests in the Church of England say the church should conduct same-sex “weddings,” 64.5 approve of homosexuality, and 62% approve of premarital sex, according to a new survey.
  • A Mississippi Democrat is accusing his opponent’s campaign of massive fraud in a recent primary election.
  • Liberty Safe may be receiving the “Bud Light treatment” after it failed to protect one of its customers and gave the FBI backdoor access to the gun safe of a January 6 protestor.
  • Dnyz reports, “Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea, plans to travel to Russia this month to meet with President Vladimir V. Putin to discuss the possibility of supplying Russia with more weaponry for its war in Ukraine and other military cooperation, according to American and allied officials.”
  • Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee is skeptical that a speedy trial could be possible for Donald Trump and his 18 co-defendants in the case brought by corrupt DA Fani Willis. Trump will likely try to move the case to federal court.
  • Law Professor Jonathan Turley says of the attempt to use the 14th Amendment to kick enemies of the regime off the ballot (including Donald Trump): “I think it’s the most dangerous theory that has emerged in decades. I think it’s entirely unsupported by the text and the history of the 14th Amendment…”
  • Revolver News urges, “It’s high time Republican lawmakers moved beyond faux outrage on social media and empty soundbites. They need to take decisive action against those who are weaponizing our cherished institutions to target law-abiding Americans. If they can’t rise to the occasion, they need to be voted out and replaced by genuine fighters who know how to outmaneuver Dems at their own evil game.”

FAITH, FAMILY, & FREEDOM REPORT

1. TUBERVILLE CONTINUES COURAGEOUS STAND: Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) continues his blockade of military appointments in protest of the Department of Defence’s policy that funds travel for out-of-state abortions. Tuberville stated, “I’ve talked to generals and admirals every day. There’s no problem with readiness. So there’s no way they’re going to talk me out of this. We’re going to have holds for a long, long time, and they can just get used to it.”

2. J.D. VANCE WANTS TO BAN MASK MANDATES: Freshman Republican Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) said he would introduce a bill to Congress that would “ensure that no federal bureaucracy, no commercial airline, and no public school can impose the misguided policies of the past. Democrats say they’re not going to bring back mask mandates – we’re going to hold them to their word.”

3. TRUMP URGES REPUBLICANS TO STAND FOR FREEDOM: Donald Trump called for Republican AGs and DAs to stand up against the assault of justice in the U.S. and to “fight fire with fire.” Trump stated in a video, “I hope that Republican district attorneys and attorneys general throughout the country are closely watching the tremendous weaponization of justice that is being utilized against me. What they are doing to our country is amazing.”

4. RAND PAUL CALLS OUT GENDER MUTILATION: Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) shared his opinion on gender surgery for minors, stating, “The Democrats kind of want to call it something that it’s not. They got really mad at me at a committee hearing when I called it genital mutilation. We have clinics set up where we are affirming this and encouraging this to happen to our children. It doesn’t work. It is a mutilation.”

5. NEBRASKA, ALASKA, UPHOLD BIOLOGICAL GENDER: Nebraska Republican Governor Jim Pillen signed a bill defining gender as male and female and forbidding men from competing in women’s sports. Pillen stated, “It is common sense that men do not belong in women’s only spaces. As Governor, it is my duty to protect our kids and women’s athletics.” In related news, the Alaska Board of Education unanimously passed a proposal banning males from competing in women’s sports.

6. IVERMECTIN WINS A BIG VICTORY: A federal court ruled that the FDA overstepped its boundaries when it told Americans to “stop” using Ivermectin. U.S. Circuit Judge Don Willett stated that the “FDA can inform, but it has identified no authority allowing it to recommend consumers ‘stop’ taking medicine.” A lawsuit brought against the FDA concerning Ivermectin has also been allowed to proceed.

7. DESANTIS ON CLIMATE CHANGE: When asked if climate change may have caused Hurricane Idalia, Governor Ron Desantis (R) stated, “We’ve got to stop politicizing the weather and stop politicizing natural disasters. I think sometimes people need to take a breath and get a little bit of perspective here. The notion that somehow if we just adopt very left-wing policies at the federal level, that somehow we will not have hurricanes, that is a lie.”

8. MICHIGAN TELETHON A MAJOR SUCCESS: In challenging the election results from 2020, Michigan chose an alternate slate of electors to potentially cast their votes for Donald Trump. Now, the entire group faces multiple felony charges. A fundraiser for their legal funds reached over $120,000, and the Gateway Pundit reported, “Without your financial support and vocal opposition to these felony charges against these 16 electors…[they] could be spending the rest of their lives in jail!”

9. GUN CONFISCATION FAILS IN TENNESSEE: Pastor Chuck Baldwin says the attempt to pass gun confiscation laws during a special session in the state of Tennessee, led by RINO Republican Governor Bill Lee, was “one of the largest and most intense attacks against the Second Amendment in modern times.” The NRA reports, “One firearm-related bill passed, Senate Bill 7085/House Bill 7012, which exempts the retail sale of firearm safes and firearm safety devices from sales and use taxes beginning November 1, 2023. Although there were numerous anti-gun bills introduced and an attempt to force through several ineffective gun control measures, the General Assembly stood firm to defend Tennesseans’ Second Amendment rights.”

10. DESANTIS REFUSES CORRUPT FUNDING: Florida Governor Ron Desantis (R) firmly opposed well over half a billion dollars of “green” funding from the Biden administration. Daniel Horowitz, senior editor for The Blaze, stated, “DeSantis is the only governor of this generation who has shown that not only is he not deterred by identity politics and corporate politics – the other two Achilles’ heels of the GOP – but he is willing to reject federal bribes to turn red states blue.”

11. BIG ELECTION INTEGRITY WIN IN ARIZONA: Yavapai County Superior Court Judge John Napper ruled that some of Arizona’s election signature verification procedures violated state law and ordered the state to fix them. Attorney Rogan O’Handley tweeted, “This is why we fight election fraud in the court, to chip away everywhere we can until new laws can be passed…AZ is officially back in play for 2024.”

12. MARCH FOR LIFE HELD IN U.K.: 7,000 people attended the annual March for Life held in the U.K. Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, who has been arrested multiple times for quietly praying outside of an abortion clinic, spoke at the event, stating, “I have been arrested twice now for praying silently near an abortion center. I was told my prayers were an offense. I’ll tell you what’s offensive here. Abortion pills being sent out to women and teenage girls…”

13. TRUMP SPEAKS UP ABOUT VACCINE SIDE EFFECTS: In a recent interview, Donald Trump spoke about the side effects of the Covid jabs. Trump said, “We’re hearing about a lot of complaints from vaccine injured. To say a lot, it’s like an understatement. Numerous pharmaceutical companies have refused to release their data on vaccine side effects. But we’ve seen cases of myocarditis, blood clots, and heart attacks. The research has never been released.” Trump also advocated the release of vaccine data to the public.

14. HAITI REFUSED THE COVID SHOT: The Covid death toll in Haiti has been extremely low, and NPR stated the reason for this was “not due to some innovative intervention against the virus. Most people have given up wearing masks in public. Buses and markets are crowded. And Haiti hasn’t yet administered a single COVID-19 vaccine.”

15. PRO-LIFE GROUP WINS SETTLEMENT: California agreed to pay almost $200,000 in legal fees to Right to Life of Central California after they challenged the state’s unconstitutional “censorship zones.” The zones would have virtually eliminated sidewalk counseling in front of abortion clinics. Alliance Defending Freedom’s Denise Harle commented, “Now Right to Life’s staff and volunteers can continue their critical mission of serving vulnerable women in the central California region with their free, life-giving services.”

HYMN OF THE WEEK

Heavenly Joy is Ringing by Robert Savage

Heavenly joy is ringing
And our hearts are singing
For His blood hath bought us!
When condemned, He sought us.

Men of every nation,
Sing the great salvation
Of our blessed Jesus
Who in mercy freed us!
Oh, the joy before us!
There in heavenly chorus
Praises we’ll be blending
For all time unending!

Hail, Thou blessed Savior!
We through Thee find favor!
Thou for us art pleading,
Ever interceding.

Now with sins forgiven
We can enter heaven!
There we’ll all adore Thee
Sovereign King of glory!

Men of every nation,
Sing the great salvation
Of our blessed Jesus
Who in mercy freed us!
Oh, the joy before us!
There in heavenly chorus
Praises we’ll be blending
For all time unending!
