AGENDA Weekly Brief

Week of June 12-18

Dear Friends,

Many times throughout the Bible we see God moving individuals and families to strategic locations to carry out His plan. Each time, God clearly led and faithfully provided. Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Rahab, King David, Mary and Joseph, Jesus, the Disciples, Paul, Timothy and others were sent by God to specific places as part of His unfolding story. As we prayerfully consider what God might have for us, may we remember the great blessings, protection and opportunities God gives to those who fully trust Him! May we look for God’s leading and willingly go where He sends us. God assures His children in Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

1. 10 RINO SENATORS SUPPORT GUN CONTROL LEGISLATION: Politico summarized, “The emerging package is anchored around extra scrutiny for gun buyers under the age of 21, grants to states to implement so-called red flag laws, and new spending on mental health treatment and school security.” Gun Owners of America responded, “Here we go again: Republican legislators compromising your rights and getting nothing in return. Federal dollars to bribe your state legislators into enacting unconstitutional ‘red flag’ laws, which could allow a court to seize your weapons, without any due process, simply based on anonymous tips.”

The 10 Republican sellouts (none of whom are up for reelection this year) are John Cornyn (TX), Thom Tillis (NC), Richard Burr (NC), Roy Blunt (MO), Bill Cassidy (LA), Susan Collins (ME), Lindsey Graham (SC), Rob Portman (OH), Mitt Romney (UT), and Pat Toomey (PA). GOP Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has praised the deal.

In related news, Canada’s Justin Trudeau declared, “Guns can be used for hunting or for sport shooting in Canada…but you can’t use a gun for self-protection in Canada. That’s not a right that you have in the Constitution or anywhere else.”

Ed. Note: To understand why the left is furiously pushing the gun control agenda, please see last week’s edition, “They’ve Got to Get the Guns.”

2. THE REAL PURPOSE OF THE J6 COMMITTEE: The J6 Committee delivered a one-sided TV presentation that Democrat lawyer Alan Dershowitz dismissed as a “kangaroo court” and a “fixed jury.” Represenative Jim Jordan (R-OH) tweeted, “Real America doesn’t care about the January 6th Committee. Gas is over $5 per gallon!” The Soros-funded Brennan Center published an article entitled, “False and cynical claims of voter fraud threaten our democracy as much as Trump himself.”

Joel Skousen of World Affairs Brief observed that the J6 Committee is even bigger than Trump: “The January 6 Committee’s entire purpose appears to be yet another attempt to indict Donald Trump for trying to ‘overturn a legitimate election,’ but in reality, it’s a pernicious war against the mere idea that the election was stolen—because they intend to steal it again and Democrats want to stigmatize the claim of election fraud so thoroughly that no one in the next election will dare speak of it again.”

3. FIFTH-LARGEST INSURANCE COMPANY IN U.S. SAW 163% INCREASE IN PAYOUTS FOR WORKING PEOPLE: From the Crossroads Report: “Five months after breaking the story of the CEO of One America insurance company saying deaths among working people ages 18-64 were up 40% in the third quarter of 2021, I can report that a much larger life insurance company, Lincoln National, reported a 163% increase in death benefits paid out under its group life insurance policies in 2021.”

Crossroads further notes, “The annual statements for Lincoln National Life Insurance Company show that the company paid out in death benefits under group life insurance policies a little over $500 million in 2019, about $548 million in 2020, and a stunning $1.4 billion in 2021.”

Could Covid vaccines be to blame? Indeed, official reports reveal at least 77,000 deaths and 7.3 million injuries following Covid injections in the United States, Europe, the U.K., and Australia. The Exposé notes that these numbers are probably vastly underinflated, as “it is estimated by medicine regulators that just 1 to 10% of adverse events are actually reported.”

Mike Adams has released shocking microscopy photos of blood clots from individuals who “suddenly died,” including “crystalline structures, nanowires, chalky particles, and fibrous structures.” See the photos here.

4. FDA APPROVES COVID VACCINES FOR INFANTS AND YOUNG KIDS: Despite clear epidemiological evidence that young children do not need Covid vaccines, the FDA’s advisory panel unanimously approved Pfizer and Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccines for infants and young children. “All the risks are to the innocent children, and all of the billion-dollar rewards go to the government-protected pharmaceuticals,” said Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX). Patrick Wood notes, “The mRNA injections remain in experimental purgatory, lacking safety testing and properly conducted clinical trials.” The Children’s Health Defense asks if the push to vaccinate young children is part of a Big Pharma strategy to earn billions by getting the Covid shot on the pediatric immunization schedule.

5. FOX NEWS ONCE AGAIN DISPLAYS ITS TRUE COLORS: As part of their series, “America Together: LGBTQ+ Pride Month,” the network aired a story praising the “extraordinary courage” of a family who allowed their five-year-old girl to “transition” to a boy.

Wade Miller of Citizens for Renewing America said, “Fox News has gone full groomer.” Christian podcaster Allie Beth Stuckey called the segment “absolutely maddening and heartbreaking,” as well as “extreme and depraved as it gets.” Republican Florida State Rep. Anthony Sabatini called the reporting “absolutely sick.”

Virginia’s Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin hosted a “pride month” reception at the Virginia State Capitol and said that pride month helps “strengthen” the “spirit of Virginia.”

6. SPORTS TEAMS AND UNIVERSITIES CELEBRATE PRIDE: Some baseball players for the Tampa Bay Rays were criticized for refusing to wear “Pride Night” special uniforms. The National File reports, “The New England Patriots threatened their fans with big tech censorship after a Tweet by the NFL team celebrating LGBT ‘pride month’ was widely mocked…Internet users have pointed out that, seemingly overnight, blue and yellow Ukrainian flags have been replaced with rainbow pride flags in corporate Twitter bios.”

Arizona State University pulled down American flags, replacing them with Pride and Juneteenth flags. One ASU student noted, “Making Juneteenth a federal holiday isn’t about emancipation of slaves. If it was, they would make September 22, Emancipation Proclamation Day, a federal holiday.”

7. FOOD SHORTAGES: An updated list reveals 97 US-based food manufacturing plants that were destroyed from 2021 to 2022 during the Biden Administration. But The U.S. Department of Agriculture says, “There are currently no nationwide shortages of food…”

8. GAS REACHES $5 A GALLON: $5 is now the nationwide average for one gallon of regular gasoline. Chevron CEO Mirk Wirth believes that another oil refinery will not be built again in the United States, thanks to restrictive government policies: “There hasn’t been a refinery built in this country since the 1970s. I personally don’t believe there will be a new petroleum refinery ever built in this country again.”

Liberty Utilities, one of New Hampshire’s major utility companies, has proposed doubling the price of electricity in August. The New Hampshire Bulletin reports that high prices of natural gas are driving the price hikes.

9. CLIMATE MISINFORMATION TO BE CENSORED: Climate change may be the next Covid. Biden’s national climate advisor Gina McCarthy said that tech companies need to crack down on climate misinformation: “Now it’s not so much denying the problem. What the [fossil fuel] industry is now doing is seeding doubt about the costs associated with [green energy] and whether they work or not.” McCarthy continued, “We need the tech companies to really jump in” on “disinformation,” and said that criticizing the green energy transition is “equally dangerous to denial,” and “we have to move fast.”

Speaking at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit, former President Barack Obama renewed his call for online censorship: “In my own country, the forces that unleashed mob violence on our Capitol are still churning out misinformation and conspiracy theories. We have to take steps to detoxify our discourse. Particularly the scourge of disinformation and conspiracy theories and hate online that has polluted our political discourse.”

10. NORWAY TO TRACK ALL FOOD PURCHASES: Free West Media reports, “Statistics Norway plans to capture several million daily receipts from food stores, signaling a new era in state data collection. Privacy advocates as well as supermarkets question this move.”

The World Economic Forum wants Radio-frequency identification, or RFID tags (which are already placed on many items in stores) to be placed on every article of clothing.

Ed. Note: Dr. Vernon Coleman warns, “Social Credit is coming, and it’s all part of The Great Reset plan.” Global elites want complete digital identification. They also want to track every purchase so that they can ration all purchases, including food and energy, under the guise of combatting “climate change.”

11. PRO-ABORTION DOMESTIC TERRORISM: The Washington Stand reports that of the 52 “violent attacks that have occurred against pro-life churches, pregnancy resource centers, organizations, property, and individuals” across America since the draft release of the Dobbs decision, 34 have occurred in blue states.

Pro-abortion terrorist group Jane’s Revenge, which has claimed responsibility for at least 16 vandalism or arson attacks in the past month, has threatened pro-life groups with more violence: “Your thirty days expired yesterday. We offered an honorable way out. You could have walked away. Now the leash is off. We have demonstrated in the past month how easy and fun it is to attack. We are versatile, we are mercurial, and we answer to no one but ourselves. We promised to take increasingly drastic measures against oppressive infrastructures. Rest assured that we will, and those measures may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti.”

Ed. Note: If these death threats and violence were aimed against the right, leftists would call it “right-wing domestic terrorism” and would rightfully prosecute the perpetrators. But because this violence advances their agenda, they do nothing about it.

12. PENTAGON ADMITS TO 46 BIOLABS IN UKRAINE: After months of dismissing reports of U.S. Biolabs in Ukraine, the Pentagon admitted to 46 U.S. laboratories in Ukraine. At the same time, the World Health Organization is now “open” to the possibility that Covid-19 may have leaked from a lab.

13. COMMUNIST CHINA REAFFIRMS ALLIANCE WITH RUSSIA: Al Jazeera reports, “Chinese President Xi Jinping reaffirmed his country’s support for Moscow on issues of sovereignty and security in a phone call with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.” According to the Xinhua news agency, Xi told Putin that “all parties should responsibly push for a proper settlement of the Ukraine crisis.” Russia and China also vowed to “expand economic cooperation” in the face of Western sanctions.

In their first face-to-face meeting, China’s defense minister threatened U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, “If anyone dares to split Taiwan from China, the Chinese army will definitely not hesitate to start a war no matter the cost.” China launched its third, most advanced aircraft carrier, the Fujian, named after the province opposite Taiwan.

14. PUTIN ADMITS TO TERRITORIAL EXPANSION: Speaking to an audience of technology students on the 350th anniversary of Tsar Peter the Great’s birth, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the country was on a quest “to return and fortify” its lost lands. Putin asked, “What was [Peter] doing? Taking back and reinforcing. That’s what he did. And it looks like it fell on us to take back and reinforce as well.”

State TV program host Vladimir Solovyov commented on Putin’s speech: “Putin is talking about fortification and enlargement, because returning [territories] means enlargement. What we lost before we now must return. This is a totally different formulation of our goal. Life is getting to be interesting.”

CBS News reports, “The government of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has authorized Russian troops, planes, and ships to deploy to Nicaragua for purposes of training, law enforcement or emergency response.” Following the invasion of Ukraine, Russia’s oil revenues soared to 93 billion euros—or roughly $97 billion.

15. NOTEWORTHY STORIES:

  • The 30-year mortgage rate surged from 5.5% to 6.28%.
  • According to official numbers, U.S. inflation now stands at 8.6%, the highest in 40 years.
  • The Epoch Times reports, “The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania has quietly dismissed Republicans’ application to overturn a lower state court’s order requiring that absentee and mail-in-ballots that lack a date handwritten by the voter be counted.”
  • The National Park Service will rename Yellowstone National Park’s Mount Doane as First Peoples’ Mountain.
  • The World Health Organization is changing the name of “monkeypox,” allegedly to combat racism.
  • Responding to a bill that would allow the government to seize property owned by Russians, Canadian Justice Minister David Lametti claimed, “You don’t have an absolute right to own private property in Canada.”
  • Breitbart reports, “Tiverton High School in Devon, England, is banning skirts and moving to a ‘trousers-only’ uniform policy to be ‘more gender-neutral.’”
  • The third military aircraft has crashed in the same week in Southern California. Are Covid jabs to blame?
  • In New York City, a record 1,596 police officers have quit over “low pay, inferior benefits, and constant abuse.”
  • Disney’s new movie, Lightyear, which promotes homosexuality, hits the theaters this week.

THE FREEDOM AGENDA

1. ELECTION INTEGRITY IN ARIZONA: “We are extremely encouraged that the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office and Recorder’s Office are now working together to investigate individuals involved in the subversion of elections,” said Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of election integrity organization True The Vote. Engelbrecht said, “We’ve spent concentrated time in Yuma County and have provided significant information to both state and federal authorities. What has been happening in Yuma County is happening across the country. The targeting of vulnerable communities and voter abuse must be stopped.”

Ed. Note: Election integrity begins with responsible individual action and coordination at the local level, as John Mills observes in his article, “Secure Your County and the Country Will Follow.”

2. NEW MEXICO COUNTY VOTES TO REMOVE DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS AND BALLOT DROP BOXES: After one day of reports and discussions, the Otero County Commission voted in favor of three important measures, including eliminating ballot drop boxes and discontinuing Dominion Voting Systems before the 2022 midterm elections. The commissioners said, “We do all want the same thing. We all want a fair election…If we don’t find out what’s going on, we’ll never know.”

3. HISPANIC REPUBLICAN FLIPS TEXAS CONGRESSIONAL SEAT IN SPECIAL ELECTION: Just the News reports that Mayra Flores beat out Democrat Dan Sanchez by roughly seven percentage points, becoming “the first Mexican-born woman and the first Republican to represent the Rio Grande Valley in Texas since Reconstruction.” After her victory, Flores declared, “This historic win will bring back God to the halls of Congress. This win is for the people who were ignored for so long! This is a message that the establishment will no longer be tolerated! We have officially started the red wave!!”

4. LOS ANGELES GATHERS ENOUGH SIGNATURES TO LAUNCH RECALL OF SOROS DISTRICT ATTORNEY: The New American reports, “Officials with the Recall District Attorney George Gascon campaign announced on Wednesday that they now have enough signatures to put Gascon’s future in the hands of voters in November. They needed 567,857 valid signatures — 10 percent of registered voters in Los Angeles — to put the question before the voters.”

5. OHIO OFFICIALLY ALLOWS TEACHERS TO CARRY FIREARMS: Ohio became the tenth state to allow teachers to carry firearms, after Governor Mike DeWine signed the bill. According to PJ Media, “In addition to the ten states that allow for armed teachers, there are another ten states where it isn’t illegal for a teacher to carry a gun.”

6. BLACK AMERICANS PURCHASING FIREARMS IN RECORD NUMBERS: The sale of firearms to black Americans skyrocketed in 2020 and 2021. Michael Moody, a black federal employee, reported the following after driving to purchase a firearm at a Maryland store. “You look at Buffalo, and the feeling of ‘This could have been me’ is there. We could be the next target. And when it’s you, what are you going to do? Are you going to run and hide? Or are you going to be able to protect yourself? Protect your family? I didn’t want a gun. I’m not a gun person. But this world has made me get one.”

7. FLORIDA THE ONLY STATE TO NOT ORDER COVID VACCINES FOR KIDS UNDER 5: According to CNBC, “Florida is the only state that hasn’t submitted a request with the federal government for doses of the Covid vaccine specifically tailored for children ages six months to five years in anticipation of U.S. regulators giving clearance for that age bracket as early as this weekend.”

8. BESTSELLING CHILDREN’S BOOK LAMBASTS TRUDEAU: “How the Prime Minister Stole Freedom” parodies Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and criticizes Justin Trudeau’s tyrannical response to Covid-19 and the Freedom Convoy. The new children’s book became Amazon’s #1 bestseller in Canada for two weeks. One reviewer wrote, “Extraordinarily accurate depiction of real events despite being a parody. Really fun read. Great way to explain what happened in Canada to the kids.”

9. LARGEST PLANNED PARENTHOOD FACILITY SHUTS DOWN: Live Action reports, “Planned Parenthood’s facility in Boise, Idaho, closed on June 1 after being in business for 15 years. It was the largest Planned Parenthood in the state, and its closure comes as the abortion conglomerate closes additional locations are across the country.”

10. MAN WHO MEMORIZED 20 BOOKS OF THE BIBLE TEACHES OTHERS THE SKILL: Professor Tom Meyer of Shasta Bible College has memorized 20 books of the Bible. Meyer said he is conducting “workshops to teach saints from all over the country how to memorize Scripture and the benefits that come from this ancient discipline.” Professor Meyer has volunteered full-time to teach visitors to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter how to memorize scripture.

11. FREEDOM MARCH: Men and women who have been liberated from perverted lifestyles gathered for the annual Freedom March in Washington, D.C. One former homosexual at the rally said, “He said He loves you with an everlasting love. The fact that God left the 99 and He came and met me where I was. God came and saved me. He gave me love. He gave me joy. He gave me freedom. He gave me my brothers and sisters in Christ. And I’m just grateful. I’m thankful, and I’m joyous.”

HYMN OF THE WEEK

How Sweet the Name of Jesus Sounds By John Newton

How sweet the name of Jesus sounds
In a believer’s ear!
It soothes his sorrows, heals his wounds,
And drives away his fear.

Dear Name! the Rock on which I build,
My Shield and Hiding Place,
My never-failing Treas’ry filled
With boundless stores of grace!

Jesus! My Shepherd, Husband, Friend,
My Prophet, Priest, and King;
My Lord, my Life, my Way, my End,
Accept the praise I bring.

Weak is the effort of my heart,
And cold my warmest thought;
But when I see Thee as Thou art,
I’ll praise Thee as I ought.
