John MacArthur – When A Nation is Abandoned by God – The Reprobate Mind

The following 10-minute video excerpt of a John MacArthur sermon on Romans 1 has been posted to supplement my last post about Curtis Bowers’ Agenda Weekly.

As I listened to Curtis’ video, I did not hear him comment on this type of judgment, even when he aired a clip of a Tucker Carlson broadcast which talked about the hatred that moved the trans shooter to seek and destroy Christians….

Curtis spent the last 10-15 minutes of his video talking about the shooting in Nashville and the trans movement….

In the following video, Pastor John MacArthur reads from Romans 1 and explains the text which describes the stages of judgment that have been unfolding in America the past 50 plus years.

MacArthur’s sermon provides a biblical explanation for what is happening in America right now. The judgment of abandonment was initially perceivable when the sexual revolution began in the 1970’s; it became more apparent with the movements that followed.

MacArthur called the stage we are in now, the third stage. The things that are happening now are because the reprobate mind is at large in America, and the western world.

He closed by saying that no group of senators, congressmen… can fix this because it is judgment from God; there is no going back to ‘sanity.’ But he comforted the people of God from scripture.

Pastor MacArthur started his explanation in verse 24 of Romans 1; below are the few verses before that verse which provide a fuller context of the reason for judgment for those who might want that.

Romans 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19  For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20  For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
21  For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22  Claiming to be wise, they became fools,  23  and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

A Reprobate Mind John MacArthur When A Nation Abandoned God.

John MacArthur is one of my favorite Biblical teachers I listen to. He’s teaching has been a blessing to me and my family. The best thing about his teachings they come from staright the Bible. No self-centered, diluted, false teachings in his messages. I’m not saying he’s always right but I believe  God has blessed him enough to put enough of the right message out there to convey other like me that Jesus Christ Is the answer to everything and only way to Heaven.

God Bless…

MacArthur is not focused on making money, unlike many false Christian preachers today.  You can download his sermons for FREE!  Just click on this link to go directly to his sermons.
